St. Pius X

Roman Catholic Church

After a fire tragically destroyed the previous church building on New Year's Day, 2015, this strong faith community got right to work fundraising & planning for their new building.

The approximately 15,000sf, neo-traditional style building features a clear-span nave with clerestory windows for an atmosphere of light and openness.  The timber trusses with hand-cut mortise & tenon joinery secured with hardwood pegs were made by local craftsmen at New Energy Works.  Much of the stained glass was salvaged from other churches, lovingly restored and complimented with new pieces by a local glass artisan (Pike Stained Glass).

Completed 2018

Designed while at Hanlon Architects

Liturgical consultant: Rohn Design
